The Atlanta Braves improbable 2018 season ended on Monday with a 6-2 loss against the Los Angeles Dodgers in game 4 of the National League Divisional Series. The Dodgers defeated the Braves 3-1 in the best of five series and will go on to face the Milwaukee Brewers to determine the N.L, champion. Kurt Suzuki drove in Nick Markakis and Johan Carmago in the fourth inning to give the Braves a 2-1 advantage.
Two innings later the Braves gave up the lead on a David Freese single which plated
Corey Bellinger and Yasiel Puig. Manny Machado hit a two-run home run to seal the win for the Dodgers.
Freddie Freeman ended the game with a swinging strikeout. After the game, while the Dodgers celebrated the majority of the 39,895 who came cheered one last for a season which surprised many. The season is over, but next year is 175 days away.
