Following Saturday’s 4-3 decline to the Mets in the Grapefruit League opener, Braves supervisor Brian Snitker announced the team’s rotation programs via Wednesday. Per The Athletic’s David O’Brien, Mike Foltynewicz will commence on Sunday and will be followed Max Fried on Monday versus Washington, Sean Newcomb on Tuesday vs . the Mets and Kyle Wright on Wednesday versus the Cardinals.

O’Brien also notes that Julio Teheran was initially penciled in for Wednesday’s commence but will keep behind and throw in a sim activity.
Foltynewicz and Newcomb are now penciled in for rotation places although Fried and Wright are vying for the fifth starters place. Touki Toussaint is also in that levels of competition and experienced a excellent outing on Saturday.
